On New Year's Eve 2010, I sat at my dining room table with my niece-in-law, Tiffany Aller. She is a fellow writer, friend and crit partner. We'd been meeting for several weeks working on goals for 2011. After a lousy 2010 for both of us, we wanted to institute a coaching relationship that would hold us accountable to our writing goals and production schedules. Knowing us, we couldn't keep it simple. We took that basic idea and took a large, daring step. Want a hint? I blame Tiffany. She gave me Darren Rowse and Chris Garrett's book, The ProBlogger.
Here's the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Our New Year's Eve 'share your goals' showdown culminated in a new partnership....the beginning of the Know Link Grow Network. Our desire to indie publish and combine our many blogs led to knew ideas some ideas for topics from writing to babies, from positive attitude to support for cops' spouses, from family ancestry to food to house flipping. While the official launch of our new network won't occur until Easter, the reorganization has begun.
This decision changed this blog. It will transform from a woman talking about random issues in her life to a writer teaching about writing and sharing knowledge, promotions and snarking about a writer's difficulties.
I hope you'll join me for this new adventure. Feel free to comment and snark to your heart's content. See you Friday.
